I installed cxlogon but the browser still asks for authentication. I have the user in Nxfilter. My local network is 192.168.40.0 and the network that the NxFilter is on is 192.168.50.0, I don't know if that could be it. After authenticating browsing is allowed.

I found out it's the firewall. Is there any recommendation which ports to release?

CxLogon uses TCP/19002. However, if it's behind a firewall it might not be working. NxFilter needs to be able to see the client IP address.

The two machines see each other on the network.

Another question: when logging off a user, how can I take down his session so that a new login, with another user, assumes the credentials?

What I was saying that there could be multiple number users behind one IP. If everybody has his/her own IP then it's OK. Logging off doesn't matter. Next user will run CxLogon with his username and takes the IP address.

Here, when logging off a user and logging in with another, nxfilter continues to take the previous user. See the image in yellow.

Sorry. I got confused with other agents. CxLogon take the first username from the registry. This is because it runs as a service with system account. It doesn't know who's the current user. If you want to share one system between multiple users, you better go with NxLogon or VxLogon.
