  • MOBLE ACESS ERROR - net:ERR_CERT_COMMON_NAME_INVALID

Hello, I'm having a problem with nxfilter.
The Access web page on my phone isn't working.
    An error message appears.
I've attached the image showing the error.
Using it on a computer and desktop worked fine, but using it on mobile didn't work.
I've already checked and the DNS is pointing correctly to Nxfilter.
I've checked a few places about installing the nxfilter certificate directly on the mobile device. Does that make sense?

    Install /nxfilter/conf/nxfilter.jks

However, to install it on the mobile device, I would have to convert the .jks file to crt.

However, when using the command: keytool -list -v -keystore /nxfilter/conf/nxfilter.jks

It asks me for a password
And I can't enter that password anywhere.
    Any suggestions?

I guess you are asking about accesssing NxFilter's Login Page. Try the IP address of your NxFilter. It would be like http://192.168.0.100/login

If it's about Login Redirection or Captive Portal, you could have HTTPS related error. So, it's better to use an IP address.

      That wasn't my question.
I have a problem accessing the web only from Wi-Fi (cell phones).
Because my router doesn't support Radius settings.
I'd like to know if there's any way to make it work without Wi-Fi.

The simplest way would be having a default user for everybody. Create a user named 'DefaultU' and associate the IP range cover whole network like '192.168.0.1 ~ 192.168.0.255'. Then everybody appears as 'DefaultU' before they login with another way.

Another way is to create users for your mobile users and set passwords and then let them go through NxFilter login page.

One more way is to use NxFilter's built-in DHCP server and use MAC address or hostname association. https://forum.nxfilter.org/announcem...r-for-nxfilter
