What's the version? It works fine with my system.

You can run it on foreground and see the output when the error occurs.

I tried switching browsers and clearing browser data, but that didn't work. I added the username to the URL, but it still didn't work. When I exited the browser, it returned an internal error.
            /user,user_edit.jsp?actionFlag=&id=897&name=usernam e:1 GET http://ipserver/user,user_edit.jsp?a...&name=username 500 (Internal Server Error)

            Version: 4.7.3.2 - updated today

Can you show me your GUI capture or do you use the old GUI?

Stop NxFilter and zip /nxfilter directory and then upload it some file sharing site and then send me the link to support@nxfilter.org. I will try it on our end.

What did you do with which user? I could change adrielly's description and policies without any error.

Any user I click to edit gets this error. I'm going to reinstall Nxfilter to test.

I am running 4.7.3.2 system has been running and working for a couple of years.

                          Running on UBUNTU

all of a sudden I also have started getting the 500 error an any user I click to edit

The backup system does not get the error

I don't know if it is related I used to run the backup system in slave mode until it quit working (slave mode) it appeared the primary did not communicate correctly. I have just run them independent since then

I checked to see UBUNU is up to date and rebooted

still getting the 500 error at http://192.168.1.254/user,user_edit....ag=&id=2&name=

Can you run it on foreground? On your Ubuntu system, go to /nxfilter/bin and then stop it using './shutdown.sh'. And then './startup.sh' then you will see the output of NxFilter. While you running it in that way try to edit any user then you will see the error message related to 500 error on the console. Capture the output and send it to support@nxfilter.org

It seems like our debugging code remained and it doesn't work with some JRE. I attached a zip file containing a JSP file, copy the JSP file into /nxfilter/guipack/sandwatch.
