  • Certificate error

Hello, how are you? After updating the NXFilter license, I'm having problems with certificates. I access a page and the CN appears on another random page. If I restart the entire server, it doesn't happen again for 2 days and on the 3rd day the problem occurs again. Any ideas?

I use NXFilter v4.6.9.2 together with PFSense 2.7.2

If it's from block redirection, I don't think it's related to your license.

Thanks for the feedback, support200 !

I had already reviewed the settings you provided, but the pages that show this error are not blocked. If I click continue, I can access the page normally. It may have been a coincidence that the error was related to the certificate renewal. I don't see any connection, but I left it registered.

Could it be some kind of cache or something? Because if I restart all the services, I can go 2 days without problems.

This is a DNS filter. It can't make any effect on SSL unless it's your admin page. It's not about NxFilter's admin page. Right? Your HTTPS traffic doesn't go through NxFilter, it just do name resolving on DNS level.

support200 It wouldn't be administration, it happens on some random sites. I tried to find some similarity between the sites where the error occurred, but I haven't found anything so far.

In a website, there are some other resources from other websites with other domains. Some of those domains might have been blocked then. You could try Silent Block. Anyway, it's not about restarting NxFilter.
