  • Update v4.7.1.1

Checking for updates, I noticed this item:
    - 'https_ciphers' option added to 'cfg.properties'.

Would this be enabling https on alert pages? Login type, blocked page?

No. It's for setting your own cipher suites for the embedded webserver. You need to install CxForward for what you want.

For desktop stations it works fine.
The problem is authenticating mobile devices, as browsers force the use of https.
If there was a way to install a certificate it would be perfect.

Do you use domain to access the login page? If you use IP address of your NxFilter server, you can access it using HTTP as far as I know.

If you need to access it using domain, you can use your own SSL certificate: https://tutorial.nxfilter.org/i-faq.php#custom-ssl

What you need is .JKS file which might be provided by your certificate issuer. And then you can set Login Domain on 'System > Setup'.
