  • Redirect to block URL rather than IP

    Hello all!

I hope this message finds you well. I'm reaching out to this community today seeking some advice and guidance.

We've been making strides in enhancing the security and usability of our NXFilter platform. Recently, we successfully installed an SSL certificate for our admin side and now run on a custom domain.

However, as we continue on our journey of improvement, we've encountered a minor hiccup. When a page is blocked by our NX filter, users are redirected to the server IP address, resulting in a "connection isn't private" message. I understand this is the norm, but we're eager to find a solution to this issue to ensure a smoother browsing experience for our users.

Do you have any suggestions on how we can send the block page to the server domain name with SSL, rather than the IP address, thus eliminating the "connection isn't private" message?

Any advice or guidance you can offer would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance for your time and assistance. I'm looking forward to hearing your thoughts!

    Andrew

Even if you redirect it to another URL, you will get the same result .Redirection of forwarding on SSL itself is the problem here. The best one we have is to use CxForward, https://tutorial.nxfilter.org/d-cxfo...k-on-https.php

Many of our users choose Silent Block as they don't think showing block page is not important. https://tutorial.nxfilter.org/i-faq.php#hide-ssl
