  • Blocking *.in-addr.arpa

    Hi

Nxfilter blocks *.in-addr.arpa on my network. How can I prevent that?

You can block it on whitelist with admin_block option.

But why do you want to block it? You need it when you are in Active Directory.

I do not want to block it. I said nxfilter blocks it. How can I bypass it from being blocked?

OK. Then why do you think it's blocked by NxFilter. Did you see the block reason on Logging > Request?

Show me the capture image with the exact domain. We don't block *.in-addr.arpa at default. If you don't want to post it here, send it to me at support@nxfilter.org.

What does DNS cache do with your *.in-arpa?

To clear out the in-mermory cache, https://tutorial.nxfilter.org/i-faq.php#clear-cache

But it's not about blocking. It's cache for DNS response from upstream DNS servers.
