I'm investigating using the clustering function for NxFilter across multiple sites, however the five-system limit seems arbitrary and could complicate deployment. Is the 1-master, 4-slave system limit something that can be increased or no? Is this what NxCloud was supposed to be able to resolve? That is the ability to have NxFilter filtering for several different sites?

Clustering is for fail-safe and redundancy of your server not for filtering each site. You are not supposed to run cluster nodes over long latency. Try NxRelay if it's for filtering each site. https://tutorial.nxfilter.org/d-nxre...le-network.php
If you really need to have more than 4 nodes of slave node then you can go with a special license from us. But I don't see why. We have some business customers for such a case but they cover whole world with their service.
