Restart after change syslog config

Hi

I'm trying to set up Syslog server in NxCloud, The GUI displays a label that says "Restarting is required after changing Syslog settings"

I want to know if it refers to execute shutdown.sh and then startup.sh or if it refers to restart all the machine

You just need to restart NxFilter.

Hi again,

I'm trying to configure syslog in nxcloud, I put my syslog host, port, enable remote logging and enable foreach node, then I restart my master machine and then my slaves. But I can't see any logs in my syslog host. I know that my syslog host it's working because I test with another machine with nxfilter and works fine.

How can I fix that ?

Try to test it with some Windows Syslog server first. Something like Visual Syslog Server.
