  • wrong active directory username

    Hi,

i want to test nxfilter with ad integration, but i see wrong username:

cxlogon sends correct, but in web gui i see a other user (this user was connectected on same pc earlier)... so it seem not updating correctly the username...

    what could be wrong?

    Thx!

    Erik

There are pros and cons for our agents. CxLogon runs as a service. This means that there's no current user for CxLogon. Because, it's System Account. We pick it up from Windows registry and it's the first user for the system. If you use NxLogon or VxLogon, they run with the current user account.

OK. Then christianklaus has an IP association?

CxLogon is the only agent you use? There should be something sending or creating login session with the name.

However, if there's an IP association it will be always christianklaus as the single IP association comes first. If there's another agent, you may see 2 usernames with the same IP. So, you see only one username?

Try to enable debugging and see if there's christianklaus comes up with anything. https://tutorial.nxfilter.org/i-faq.php#enable-debug
